I finished my education as a graphic designer in 1981, and I always worked in graphics. In 2001 I started my own graphic design company and this enabled me to resume my great passion – writing.
Thus my first crime story came about, i.e. Dukkebarnet/The Baby Doll which was published in 2008 by the publishing house DarkLights. This became the start of the series about Italian-born detective sergeant Rolando Benito with the East Jutland Police whose colleagues call him Roland Benito. To my great surprise and joy the book soon made it to the bestseller list of the libraries in Aarhus Kommune (municipality). I received a lot of mails from readers who encouraged me to continue writing. Now there are 17 books in the series. They can be read independently but off course – as with all series – it can be advantageous to read them in the right order as the lives of the characters develop from book to book.
Subjects from everyday life inspire me, and I write only to entertain the readers by giving them an exciting story.
